Geneva Motor Show 2013

The Geneva motor show 2013

The Geneva motor show is a show which is on during the week. This is held in Geneva, Switzerland and has been held since 1905. This is a motor show which has seen the arrival of numerous show stoppers.

The Aston Rapide S starred and the cheaper Suzuki SX4 were some of the newly launched cars. The Ferrari LaFerrari was a very fast, sleek and stylish Ferrari. Unfortunately the name isn't as great. It means TheFerrari in English. Another supercar was the Lambo Veneno which is a stunning no-frills concept Lambo. Arguably the best car was the McLaren P1 which looked great, went great, and handled great.

My friends from Car Dealer Magazine were there to capture the action and have kindly let be use some of there photos.

Vauxhall Adam

The Vauxhall Adam is a new supermini by Vauxhall. It fills the gap between the Agila and Corsa. It is like a Mini with the customization options. But when made, it is unique.

Lexus LFA

Lexus LFA

The Lexus LFA is a high-performance Supercar with limited production - only 500 Lexus LFAs were made. Top Gears Jeremy Clarkson said ‘it was the best car he had ever driven’. The car (including the concept) had been modelled on since 2000. The LFA was partially shown at the 2003 Tokyo motor show. The concept was fully revealed at the 2005 Detroit motor show. The roadster version of the (then called) LF-A was shown at the 2008 Detroit motor show.
The LFA finished concept was shown at (for the third time) in motor city. In December 2010 the first LF-A rolled off the production line at the Motomachi factory LFA Plant at the production rate of 1 a day. The building of the LFA came to a close at December 2012.
With launch control the speedy LFA goes from 0-60mph in 3.6 seconds, and 0-100mph in 7.6 seconds. The LFA can do a lap of Magny-Cours in France in 1:20.6, the fastest lap round the track ever followed by the KTM X-Bow and Nissan GTR.
The LFA also did a lap of Goodwood and clocked 1:24.8 making it the fastest lap of the track.
